At McNamara Construction we have developed a culture that promotes an injury-free environment and provides the safest workplace possible for our employees, subcontractors, clients and others who enter or are near our construction sites.

It is our policy to comply with all current health and safety legislation and to ensue, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare of all employees whilst at work and to provide such information, training and supervision needed for this purpose.

Through innovative training and education programmes, we also provide our employees and sub-contractors with the tools, knowledge and resources they need to increase safety, reduce risk and improve loss control on every project we manage.

All sites are regularly audited by our Health & Safety team in order to ensure compliance with the required systems and procedures; audit results are reviewed and immediate corrective action taken if and when required. Regular reviews are then undertaken at senior management level of audit results and performance and measures are implemented to achieve continuous improvement.

We also employ external safety consultants to assist us in achieving the highest possible standards in safety

Being safe in the workplace and on the job site takes a team effort. In order for our projects to be a success, they must be completed safely.
